Who we are
Shaker Bar & Bev. Co. started in 2024 and is based in Southlake, TX, serving couples across Dallas-Fort Worth. We are a mobile bar service, so there is no storefront: the bar comes to your venue, which is why the service area matters more than the address.
Mostly weddings, with corporate parties, galas and private celebrations through the year. What we sell is not really alcohol: an evening where nobody queues, nothing runs out, the drinks match the rest of the wedding, and somebody else clears up at the end.
What we believe about a wedding bar
The bar is the one vendor every guest interacts with. Not every guest notices the flowers or reads the menu card, but everyone goes to the bar, usually more than once, at the same two moments as everyone else. That is why we staff one bartender per 75 guests rather than stretching it, and why stock management is a skill we hire for.
Prices should be published. Ours are, in full, on the pricing page: every package from $15 to $35 a guest, every add-on and every staffing rate, readable without giving your email first. Couples budget in spreadsheets; a vendor who withholds a number until you fill in a form makes that harder.
You should be able to check what we say. Our Google rating is 4.43 from 14 reviews, and we have replied to every one. They are linked from the review page, so you can read them at the source rather than take a selected quote on trust.
How we work with your other vendors
Planners tend to notice this first. Our crew arrives at least two hours before the ceremony and works alongside the caterer, the venue team and the planner, then stays an hour and a half after the bar closes to break down and clear glasses. A wedding planner’s review on our Google profile singles out the end-of-night clean-up as the reason she books us: not the glamorous part of the job, but the part planners remember.
Where we work
The Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, out of two locations, Southlake and Dallas, each with its own Google Business Profile. The service-areas page lists every city we cover, and if your venue is nearby but not on it, ask.

Who runs the bar
Meet the managers
Both are TABC certified, the Texas training that covers checking ID, pacing service and refusing it when someone has had enough.
Amber Williford
Beverage Director & Manager
- TABC certified
- Certified medical assistant
Amber, known to everyone as Am, is the creative force behind Shaker Bar & Bev. She is a proud mom to three kids: a 10-year-old daughter, a 17-year-old son and her 18-year-old adopted son, who keep her just as busy and inspired as the events she helps create. When she isn’t designing bar experiences, you’ll find her with her kiddos and her six beloved dogs (yes, six). She also breeds miniature long-haired dachshunds, and will happily tell you her fur babies are just as important as her human ones.
Her journey into the beverage world started simply as a way to make extra money. She wasn’t even sure she’d like bartending, but it didn’t take long to realize she absolutely loved it: the energy, the creativity, the connection with people. It all clicked. What began as a side hustle quickly turned into a passion, and after two years of growth and dedication she was promoted to Beverage Director. She leads with enthusiasm, heart and a serious eye for detail.
Am thrives on working with couples to bring their bar vision to life, whether that means crafting signature cocktails, curating a custom menu or perfecting every last garnish. Her favorite drink is a Blood Orange Paloma, or really anything tequila-forward.
One more thing worth knowing: alongside running the bar program, Am is a certified medical assistant, which means she handles just about anything with calm confidence.
She doesn’t have a single favorite type of event. What she loves most is how personal each celebration is, watching every detail reflect a couple’s style and story, and knowing the bar plays a part in that.
Lauren Anderson
Administrative Assistant & Bartender
- TABC certified
Lauren is one of the friendly faces behind the bar at Shaker, working as both a bartender and admin assistant. She has quickly become an essential part of the team, always eager to learn, grow and jump in wherever she is needed. Since joining she has loved getting hands-on experience and learning something new every time she steps behind the bar.
Her go-to drink is a Blood Orange Paloma: refreshing, vibrant and a little bit fun, just like her.
Originally from San Antonio but raised in Dallas, Lauren values time with her family, especially as a proud sister to her 15-year-old autistic brother. When she isn’t working events, you’ll likely find her catching up on sleep or enjoying a shopping trip.
One of her favorite parts of being at Shaker is getting to witness such meaningful moments, especially weddings, and being part of someone’s special day. She also loves meeting new people from all walks of life, which makes every event unique.
How our crew works
Top-notch bartenders
Shaker hires bartenders who know their way around a busy bar and how to keep things cool and safe, so guests have a good time and the evening runs smoothly for you.
Smart drink stocking
Bartenders keep the drinks your guests actually want within reach and cut down on leftovers, which keeps the party moving and the cost down. On a BYOB bar this is the difference between returnable bottles and opened ones.
Effortless collaboration
The crew works with the rest of your vendor team rather than around it, from setup through clean-up. Planners are the people who notice this first, and it is what turns up most often in Shaker’s reviews.
Exceptional customer service
Timely service and attention to detail, with bartenders who treat each guest as a guest rather than an order in a queue.
